We have had some lovely things going on at Mango this month, some great functions, some great cocktail making and lots of plain old winter fun. We have launched our new Friday night music concept “Disco not disco”, which has already seen Dj D’Operator along with some special guests make Mango boogie. We have also seen the return of our beloved Caitlin who after breaking her ankle is now back to full strength and as always is impressing everyone with her skills (get her to make you a Cool Cat, you won’t be disappointed!). We know that it gets cold and dark after work this time of year, and it would be easy to go home, but a visit to Mango is worth it. It’s warm, we have a banging drinks list and we are always smiling.

We have decided that given we see people taking pics all the time we should make it worth your while. So this month we are giving away a $200 drink card to the best Mango moment captured via Instagram. WELCOME GUS

For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Mango’s newest staff member, you are missing out. Gus has been a friend of Mango’s for many years as in his previous role he was our favourite barista, and kept us caffeinated and sane. Gus is a busy boy, by day he continues to brew the some of the best coffee you will ever taste and by night he is a fierce bartender. Come in and say hi to Gus and get him to make you his favourite cocktail…Can you guess?? Yes the espresso martini!

ESPRESSO MARTINI

A wonderful winter cocktail, a cocktail that here at Mango we think stacks up with the best of the best. A shot of freshly ground and brewed Supreme espresso, Absolut vodka, Kahlua and our special little twist a dash of Galliano all shaken hard and strained into a chilled martini glass. It’s creamy, it’s balanced, it presents beautifully, it is pretty much perfect…
