| THE LATIN MIXER Houston's Biggest Hispanic Heritage Month Event Series bring you The Latin Mixer! Join hostess Deborah Duncan of Great Day Houston with guests from the Houston Latin consular body, city officials, business leaders and others to celebrate unity, diversity and cultural enrichment, all in a festive evening. The evening features performances by Solero Flamenco, Jorge Orta 'Cro-Cro' (percussionist), DJ Franky, Strictly Street Salsa dancers, Raul Orlando Edwards (baritone), local artists, great music and dancing. Two of the evening's highlights are the presentation of the Stay Diverse Award to outstanding individuals engaged in promoting cultural diversity; the second, words by the event's Keynote Speaker on diversity in business. Beverages, dance lesson, door prizes and food make this the hottest launching Hispanic Heritage Month event for 2013 this Thursday, September 12, 2013 at CWA Hall, Downtown, 1703 Jefferson, Houston TX 77003, 5:30 - 6:30 PM (Consular Reception) and 6:00 - 10:00 PM (General Reception and Networking).
