| Arturo O'Farrill: From A More Open World
In the aftermath of World War II, isolationism gave way to an America that embraced outside influence. During this cultural shift, Latin music saw a rise in popularity. This was the world into which Chico O'Farrill, father of Arturo O'Farrill, was born. As a result, he had the chance to become a Latin jazz legend. His son Arturo gone on to further that legacy while ensuring Latin jazz remains a cultural force for the future.
