The sensational new SFJAZZ Summer Sessions concludes this August 22 - 25 with four stellar piano shows. Pick your favorite style, from big band, dueling pianists, bebop, ragtime, hip-hop and more.

John Beasley (8/22) has worked with Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Queen Latifah and Steely Dan. He leads a smashing new 16-piece big band that captures the spirit of Thelonious Monk's music in fresh arrangements.

Eric Reed and Benny Green (8/23) play solo and duets at facing grand pianos. They toured Europe last year in a swinging eight-handed piano act with Mulgrew Miller and Kenny Barron.

Marcus Roberts (8/24) taps the full range of the jazz piano from Joplin rags and Jelly Roll Morton blues to the bopping music of Monk and beyond.

Stride Piano Summit (8/25) with greats Dick Hyman, Mike Lipskin and Stephanie Trick revels in the music of Fats Waller, James P. Johnson and others who shaped the swinging orchestral style of the 1920's and '30's. Hyman has been composer, arranger and pianist for many Woody Allen movies.
