This historic recording is the debut Berlin appearance by then 18-year-old Jacqueline Du Pré with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin in 1963. That evening, two iconic careers were launched, as Du Pré performed with another young star, 22-year-old pianist Bruno Leonardo Gelber. This release forms part of the Legendary Recordings series from Audite.
